What’s up party people. So for this video, I decided to do something different. Combining my passion for Pro Wrestling & Fandom of Mortal Kombat, I decided to give my piece on the demand for The Miz to play Johnny Cage in the Mortal Kombat Movie Sequel.

I’ll admit, at first I asked why, similar to Jadakiss. I always thought John Morrison was the one to play Johnny. However, after seeing the demand and taking a closer look at The Miz, I realized he makes PERFECT sense.

The Miz’s on screen character mirrors that of Cage, arrogant, cocky, and flashy. Regardless of the timeline, Cage retains those qualities in varying degrees. Plus, The Miz loves to wear shades, as does Cage.

The one common detraction I saw about The Miz playing Johnny Cage is the fact Miz isn’t a martial artist. That’s a valid concern. However, the majority of live action Mortal Kombat films with Cage depict his fighting as more of a creative brawler. The best martial arts portrayal of Cage in my opinion was Matt Mullins in Mortal Kombat Rebirth & Mortal Kombat Legacy. But since the majority of live action Cage depictions don’t hinge too heavily on martial arts, I think The Miz would be fine. Besides, Cage himself uses stunt doubles in MK11, cut Miz a break if he needs any.

All in all, although I’m late to the party, I’m with The Miz playing Johnny Cage.
Even The Miz wants to play Johnny Cage.
